They are different services: shared hosting is perfect if you have a site that fits in the standard configuration that is proposed (you can see the details in the hosting page). While if you need special libraries, or legacy versions of software or other customizations, or you prefer to work directly in SSH on the server, or manage multiple websites from a single interface is better to evaluate a dedicated server. Of course we are at full disposal to help you in its configuration and management.

At Denali we believe that VPS represent the present and future of advanced hosting. Because we believe it is economically advantageous for the customer to separate hardware issues from software ones. In fact, nowadays hypervisors (especially in the case of KVM, the one used by our VPS) ensure that the hardware features allocated on the VPS are permanently available (also we do not use dynamic addressing for storage and RAM, so what is sold is actually what is usable on the server).

All our activations, for the safety of you, our customers, are performed after the payment verification (in this way you can avoid fraudulent payments). From this moment the server activation time depends on the services associated with it. For example, if it is a normal VPS without assistance, in a few minutes it is active. If instead it is a VPS with control panel, or other application chosen by you through the Pro Pack, it will take about 3-4 hours for its activation. In any case you will be notified by email as soon as the server will be available.

The following renewal periods are available for all our servers: monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual.
